The ABED 2005 Prize of Excellence in Distance Education

The ABED 2005 Prize of Excellence in Distance Education has the objective of incentivating the development of innovative practices and research in distance education in Brazil by means of:

• The valuation of quality research and experiences in distance education in Brazil;
• The identification of quality practices of shown to be successful and that serve as a reference to professionals or institutions interested in distance education;
• The diffusion of relative pedagogical experiences which seek to improve distance education in Brazil, whether accomplished by individuals or teams.

The 2005 prize will be awarded on the 18th of September, 2005, at 7pm, during the official opening ceremony of the 12th Congress of Distance Education in Florianópolis (Santa Catarina, Brazil)

Deadlines for submissions of work: 17th of August, 2005.
Notification of finalists: 5th of September, 2005
