MC 4 - "The State of the Art in the New Discipline of Evaluation"

A review of the situation in the major sub-fields of evaluation, namely program, product, personnel, performance, proposal, and policy evaluation, and the linkage between them, which is the logic of evaluation. Some comments will also be made about two newly recognized sub-fields: meta-evaluation and intradisciplinary evaluation, and about some quasi-evaluation fields, e.g., literary and art criticsm, and wine connoisseurship.
