15-17 August ICDE
- International Council for Open and Distance Learning
Regional Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean
The International Council for Open and
Distance Education (ICDE) is pleased to invite you to participate
in the 3rd Regional Meeting of Distance Education, preparatory
of the 20th ICDE World Conference Düsseldorf, April 2001.
After the successful regional meetings
we had in Buenos Aires (1998) and Viena (1999), it is important to
increase the participation of institutions, teachers, professionals,
technicians, etc., related with Distance Education, to deepen the
knowledge about our regional reality so as to be able to easily get
into the world-wide context.
All Latin American and the Caribean
countries might be present in this meeting either personally in São
Paulo, or by different technological means that will be provided (Internet,
videoconference, amongst others). We are sure that the success of
the meeting will be increased with the participation of people from
other parts of the world, who will be – of course – welcome too.
